  1. I Googled “Colisa” in August 2014 and it appears on a number of telephone
    directory type sites such as Alibaba, but the company has no Internet
    presence that I could detect. There is another company planning to offer a
    similar device, Tarilian Technologies, but they haven’t posted anything on
    line for over a year since 14 March 2013.

    These devices, if they really work, would seem well ahead of the equipment
    used by the medical authorities, whose measurements are so obvious that
    they must influence the result. Patients can even have bruised arms after
    using a blood pressure recorder for a day.
